Allison Pillings
A collection of bold prints aimed at women’s fashion. Based on events and movements from the 1960′s, designs focus on colour, which has been inspired by both the sixties and forthcoming colour trends. Bringing the 1960′s into the 21st century. Allison uses Adobe Illustrator as her main design tool. Check out more examples of her work www.artsthread.com/p/allisonpilling

Kat Spencer
Surface Pattern designer and illustrator Kat Spencer’s work is constantly inspired by nature; and designing always starts with a lot of photography and drawing. Kat’s work is distinctive with her unique approach of modernising traditional cultural motifs that she has then converted into repeat patterns and combines these with intriguing pen and ink illustrations taken from nature. Her inspiration is driven further by her European cultural roots and travels, and has both a story and a concept. www.katspencer.co.uk

Natalie Shacklady
Taking inspiration from geology and the formation of rocks and minerals Natalie has created the HOT ROCKS collection of fashion fabrics and accessories. In response to the myriad of colour and texture found within her preliminary research, she has utilised methods such as marbling to reinterpret my fascination with geology into a textile collection that is rich in both texture and colour.
